Biotechnology Science

The Biotechnology State Program Area introduces students to the use of organisms at the molecular level to develop, make, or modify products.  Students learn foundational knowledge about this process as well as laboratory skills in order to manipulate organisms genetically.  The program area can be directed towards the agricultural, medical, or pharmaceutical areas of study.
