APA WF 22-29 Laboratory Services Policy Cleanup

The proposed rule changes will reorganize the existing laboratory policies and combine them into one centralized location. This will allow for better access to the policies and an easier understanding of services covered under the laboratory benefit. Furthermore, language will be put into policy that will clarify coverage of reference (outside) laboratories when an independent or hospital laboratory refers a service to another laboratory.
