APA WF 22-22 Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees

These rule changes were previously approved by the OHCA Board of Directors and are pending approval from the Governor as emergency rules. Due to Oklahoma Statutes, these rules must be taken through the permanent rulemaking process.

The proposed revisions establish rules to update the citizenship/alien status policy to comply with Public Law 117-128, which entitles certain Ukrainian nationals entering the United States during a designated period of time, to receive SoonerCare services, provided all other eligibility factors are met.  Ukrainian humanitarian parolees are eligible for the same benefits available to refugees admitted under Section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, except for the program of initial resettlement.
