APA WF 22-07 Tribal Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Policy Updates

These rule changes were previously approved by the OHCA Board of Directors and the Governor and are currently in effect as emergency rules. Due to Oklahoma Statutes, these rules must be taken through the permanent rulemaking process.

The proposed revisions will update policy to reflect that Indian Health Services, Tribal Programs, and Urban Indian Clinics (I/T/U) providers will be reimbursed the outpatient Office of Management and Budget (OMB) rate for rendered residential SUD services. This policy change aligns with the authority in the Oklahoma Medicaid State Plan and with current business practices.
