Reimbursement Methods /Fee Schedules

Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Services Payment rates are established using state developed relative value weights for outpatient mental health and substance abuse services and a monetary conversion factor (CF), to determine the overall level of payment. Separate CFs are established for public and private programs. Children’s services are paid using the same CF regardless of whether the provider is public or private. Public providers may include governmental and non-governmental providers.

PACT Services A per diem fee has been established for PACT services that are all-inclusive of any and all treatment and rehabilitation intervention services provided in one day by the PACT team. The payment rate does not include room and board.
