35th Annual Statewide Art Contest for the 2027 Calendar


Poster Contest Submissions Form and Instructions

Submission for the 2028 art contest will open in December 2026.

County winners placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in February receive certificates, and those posters are submitted to state judging. State winners will be notified in March and honored at a mid-April Awards Event in Oklahoma City.

State winners receive a cash prize, a poster design T-shirt, recognition at the State Capitol by the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the Oklahoma Senate, and a Legislative Award Citation. State-winning posters will build the upcoming 2027 Poster Calendar.

How it works:

Contest entry began on December 1st, 2025, and ended on February 13th, 2026.

Winners Revealed April 15th, 2026

CASH prize awards are $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $150 for 3rd place state winners in each of the four grade divisions. One additional poster will be chosen as the State Promotional Poster of the Year and win $300, another poster will be selected as the Entry Form Poster and win $200, and a final poster will be selected as the new Postcard and win $250.

The classroom project/home school teacher of each of the 15 state winners may receive a voucher (depending on availability) for a one-night stay at an Oklahoma State Park, (NO MULTIPLE AWARDS ON STATE PARK VOUCHERS), and CASH prize money, ($150 for 1st and for Promo Poster, $100 for 2nd and Entry Form Poster, $75 for 3rdto be used for classroom art supplies!
