Governor's Task Force on Campaign Finance and Election Threats

In November, 2023, Governor Kevin Stitt issued Executive Order 2023-09, creating the Governor's Task Force on Campaign Finance and Election Threats. A group of nine members, including the Secretary of the State Election Board and two county election board secretaries, was charged with assessing the dynamics of campaign finance and potential threats to election security.

An excerpt from the Task Force report:

"Following a full analysis of Oklahoma’s system, the Task Force concludes that our election system is one of the best systems in the nation. Elections are conducted with integrity and efficiency. Audits are conducted to verify results. But most importantly, officials focus on their mission, driven to conduct a fair and unbiased election."

In an effort to maintain the integrity of Oklahoma elections, the Task Force made several recommendations, which are available in the final report.
