Kira Switzer - Associate Director, Capacity Building
Kira Switzer is the associate director for capacity building at TSET. She works with communities across Oklahoma to understand their needs and support organizations as they grow and adapt. Her work focuses on planning, problem-solving and helping ideas turn into action.
Switzer has experience developing and leading projects in social services and public health. She previously worked as a project manager at the University of Oklahoma and held roles with the St. Louis Regional Health Commission, the United Way of Greater St. Louis and the Maternal, Child and Family Health Coalition. She has also worked as a consultant with city leaders and nonprofit organizations.
She earned a Master of Public Health in community health and a Master of Science in nutrition and dietetics from Saint Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences from Baylor University.
