Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority

The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority was created in 1959 to provide bond funding for the construction of office buildings and other infrastructure support for various departments and agencies of the State of Oklahoma, particularly those currently leasing office space.

The State Treasurer's office oversees the staff designated to administer OCIA affairs. By statute, the Office of the Attorney General provides legal counsel to OCIA. The Deputy Treasurer for Debt Management provides services to OCIA related to issuance of bonds and other obligations.
