Trooper Trainee Testing
The written exam (Oklahoma POSSE) is now being offered through Oklahoma Career Tech. Test results are valid for one year.
- Annual Leave: 15 days/year
- Sick Leave: 15 days/year
- Paid Holidays: 11/year
- Health Insurance and Life Insurance
- Retirement Plan
- Longevity Pay (after two years employment)
- Uniform Allowance (included in salary above)
- Shift Differential Pay (included in salary above)
Documents required during application process:
- Passport-style, forward-facing, recent photograph
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license
- Social Security card
- Certified state-issued birth certificate or Certificate of Naturalization/Citizenship
(hospital-issued certificates will not be accepted) - Certificate of Degree of Indian or Alaska Native Blood (CDIB), if applicable
- Official or unofficial transcripts from all accredited colleges/universities
- Verification of current enrollment (if still completing required coursework)
