· Conduct facility specific site visits based on substantiated incidents.
· Developed 2026 in-service training curriculum based on statistics and needs.
· Continued internal facility PREA assessments and audits conducted by Department of Justice certified PREA Auditors. Increase frequency of facility-based assessments driven by need
· Continue PREA classroom and virtual training for all new ODOC employees as well as annual training requirements for all other employees.
· Continue to conduct specialized PREA training for investigative and medical staff, as well as offering opportunities for specialized training to other staff members.
· Continued focus on developing staff skills for early prevention, detection, response. Emphasize this area in new training
· Training provided to newly assigned PREA Compliance Managers.
· Continue to train all inmates on their rights to be free from sexual abuse.
· Increase response training.
· Continue to develop relationships with advocate service providers for inmates.
