Facility Visitation Information

Please call the Visitation Unit at 405-768-3269 for any questions. To schedule visits, please call or use the form below.

All visits must be scheduled – no walk-ins will be accepted.

All schedules for the upcoming weekend/week must be finalized by Wednesday at 5 p.m. No changes or additions will be permitted after Wednesday unless authorized by facility administration.

Visitors must follow all ODOC rules outlined in the visitation policy. Facility staff will conduct pat searches on all inmates and visitors before visitation. Visitation hours vary by facility and an inmate’s security level.

Important: All visitors must submit a Visitor Application Form.

Paper visitation application forms will still be accepted at ODOC headquarters in Oklahoma City. The form must be addressed to the Visitation Unit, not the inmate.

Background checks are required for those 18 and older, and the inmate will notify you when the process is complete. Approval can take up to eight weeks. The inmate will also notify you of the scheduled date and time of visitation.

Visitors bringing minors must provide documentation (e.g., birth certificates or court/adoption papers) to verify guardianship. Once a child turns 18, they must complete a visiting application.

A special visit is any request to visit outside the assigned times. Only the facility head or designee can approve these visits. Special visits and attorney visits will occur on Monday and Thursday.

Each facility allows special visits, which include:

  • Visitors traveling long distances.
  • Volunteers or re-entry partners approved by staff.
  • Visits to hospitalized inmates.
  • Disciplinary status visits (attorney/clergy only).
  • Meetings between clergy and social service representatives.

Ministerial visits, as defined in OP-030112 (Religious Programs), must be professional and for inmates with whom they have a ministerial relationship. These visits must be scheduled in advance unless an emergency occurs.

Legal visits will be in accordance with OP-030118.

Visits for terminally ill inmates follow OP-140146 (Palliative Care Program).

  • First violation: Temporary restriction (90–180 days).
  • Second violation: Temporary restriction (180–365 days).
