  • Career development, continuing education, certification, and personal enrichment are just a few of the reasons for enrolling in Adult and Career Development classes at your local technology center. Professional staff members collaborate with other ACD staff in Oklahoma’s CareerTech system to create the training programs and services you need to be successful in the workforce.

  • Partnering with your local technology center can open up a world of possibilities that can help your company grow, expand and become more profitable. We can provide quality, customized training in many areas including Safety and Health, Existing Industry and Training for Industry.

Small Business Services

  • Services from evaluating business concepts to assistance in growing or sustaining your small business can be found at your local technology center. Whether you have a small business or are exploring entrepreneurship, your local technology center has programs and consulting services in place to help you achieve your financial goals.

Small Business Incubators

  • Oklahoma CareerTech has a total of 13 certified business incubators strategically located at technology centers around the state. Each has undergone a thorough review by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce prior to their certification. According to the National Business Incubation Association, the overall success rate for businesses that begin in an incubator is 80 percent. By providing affordable lease space and a wide array of on-site managerial, administrative and financial services, our incubators assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in overcoming challenges faced in the marketplace.

Training for Industry Growth (TIG)

  • Training for Industry Growth is a program designed specifically to meet critical training needs identified by employers. TIG is a tool that your local technology center uses to bring together companies experiencing similar needs. When these companies identify the skill sets their employees need, the technology center then provides customized training to produce quality employees for your company’s workforce.

Training for Industry Progress (TIP)

  • In existence since 1968, Oklahoma’s TIP has provided start-up training for virtually every sector of industry. From manufacturing to warehouse and distribution centers, aerospace to business services, biotech to food processing, we have the experience and expertise to serve your company well.

Volunteer Firefighter Training

  • Oklahoma’s technology centers continually work to help keep rural fire departments staffed with properly trained individuals. The CareerTech System can efficiently deliver the training your firefighters need at a location near your community. Depending on the type and complexity of the training requested, training can vary from four hours to courses spanning weeks, months, or a year.

Contact your local technology center for more information on any of the above programs.
