Administrative Letter 19-05

Dear Provider,

Developmental Disabilities Services received approval from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Community Living group home rate increases made possible by HB3708.   The rates were adjusted to address staffing costs and eliminate the need for Habilitation Training Services (HTS) authorizations.  These increases are effective as of October 4, 2018.  The new rates are described and outlined below.

The DDS Provider Support Center will update all of the existing Community Living group home authorizations.  In addition, the DDS Provider Support Center will end date all HTS authorizations for those service recipients with a current Community Living group home authorization effective October 3, 2018.  We will keep you informed as we work through this process.  The DDS Provider Support Center is a good resource if you need further information or assistance.  The support center may be contacted as follows:
