Oklahoma Child Care Services (CCS) under the oversight agency of The Department of Human Services (DHS) works in partnership with the Governor and the Legislature on policies and laws that promote healthy child development and school readiness. To further promote the vision of healthy children and school readiness CCS also works closely with the Department of Health and State Department of Education.
DHS serves as the lead agency for the accountability to the Office of Child Care related to the Child Care Development Fund Grant that supports services related to child care services for children, families and providers.
CCS has a strong relationship with Oklahoma’s Tribal Nations, working collaboratively to support programs and educators in meeting the needs of Oklahoma’s children and families.
