Outpatient Services

Outpatient Behavioral Health

Outpatient Behavioral Health Centers generally provide services that range from psychotherapy (counseling) to medication management to psychological testing. Some agencies provide case management services and different types of social skills training. All provide mental health assessment. A few specialize in services to the severely mentally ill, outpatient drug and alcohol services and some specialize in services for children.

There are 2 major types, those contracted by OHCA as private outpatient providers and those contracted by the Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) as Community Mental Health Centers and by OHCA.
