US-81/US-60 lanes shift at SH-45 north of Enid Thursday; expect delays in work zone

This project is weather permitting:

Northbound and southbound US-81/US-60 lanes will shift between SH-45 and Kremlin Rd. north of Enid in Garfield County by early Thursday afternoon. Motorists are advised to be extra vigilant to these changes and expect delays as traffic adjusts to the new configuration. Traffic will remain on the outside lanes in each direction through October for an ongoing pavement reconstruction project.

Additionally, US-81/US-60 remains narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals to direct traffic flow between Kremlin Rd. and County Line Rd./E0920 Rd. The highway will be narrowed one mile at a time through fall 2021 for resurfacing. 

Drivers should plan ahead for delays and extra travel time or locate an alternate route.
