Kyle King

Chief of Survey

Kyle King was named Chief of Survey for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s Survey Division in March 2018. In his new role, he will manage, plan, organize and direct land, photogrammetry and right of way surveying efforts.

He joined ODOT in 1982 and held various positions until becoming a professional land surveyor in 1996 working for the Clinton office. In 2001, he became Land Surveyor Manager for the northwest portion of Oklahoma and held that position until his recent promotion to Oklahoma City headquarters.

King is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors, a member of the Transportation Research Board and on the Oklahoma State University-OKC Tech Advisory Committee.

He and his wife live in Clinton and have two children and three grandchildren. In his free time, King enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and is a huge movie buff.
