Minimum Requirements

Basic Requirements:
* Must be a citizen of the United States
* Must be between 21 and 45 years old
* Must have high school diploma or GED
* Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
* No felony convictions, serious misdemeanors convictions, domestic violence convictions
* Must be of good moral character
* Must successfully pass a physical agility test

Key Responsibilities

• Provide for public safety by maintaining order, responding to emergencies, protecting people and property, enforcing motor vehicle and criminal laws, and promoting good community relations.
• Patrol City streets, parks, commercial and residential areas to preserve the peace and enforce the law, control vehicular traffic, prevent or detect and investigate misconduct involving misdemeanors, felonies and other law.

Benefits
• Competitive salary: Starting pay is $56,241.47.00. Top pay for the patrolman rank is $75,368.95
A $10,000.00 sign-on incentive is being offered for Oklahoma CLEET or other law enforcement certified applicants.
